Where do you put it all?
Where do you put the spare duvet when the cupboard is already full? Where do the winter blankets go in summer, and the summer clothes go in winter? If your bedroom has no built-in storage, you know this problem well. A cheap ottoman bed with mattress solves it in one go: a bed to sleep on, a mattress included, and a huge storage box hiding underneath it all.
A gas-lift ottoman storage bed with a mattress costs from £350 for a single and from £410 for a king size at Kensley Home, with free UK delivery and payment in cash when it arrives. Below are the real ottoman beds with mattress prices for every size, so you can compare before you buy. These are cheap ottoman beds with mattress packages, not just a frame. The mattress is included in the price, and every package comes with free delivery and pay on delivery.

What size should you choose?
Start with your room, not the price. A single ottoman bed with mattress is 90 cm wide, so it fits a child's room, a box room or a guest room. Single ottoman beds with mattress start at £350, and the 10-inch mattress is included.
A small double ottoman bed with mattress is 120 cm wide, and a 4ft ottoman bed with mattress costs £390. That is the size to pick when one person wants room to stretch out, or when two people share a small bedroom. An ottoman small double bed with mattress is 120 cm wide and 200 cm long, the standard UK length. A small double ottoman bed and mattress together cost less than buying them separately, and the mattress is matched to the gas lift.
A double ottoman bed with mattress is 135 cm wide. A double ottoman bed with mattress included costs £390, the same as the small double on most of our models, so choose by room size, not price. The double ottoman bed mattress is 10 inches thick, and the ottoman mattress in the package is matched to the gas lift so the base lifts easily.
A king size ottoman bed with mattress is 150 cm wide and costs from £410. That is the size most couples choose when they want space. An ottoman bed, small double with mattress, is the step below it, and our ottoman small double beds with mattress start at £390. Our small double bed ottoman with mattress package costs £390, the same as the double.
Ask yourself two questions before you order. First, who sleeps in it, one person or two? Second, can you walk around it? Leave about 60 cm of clear floor on the sides you need to reach, and measure your doorways and stairs too, so the bed can reach the bedroom.
What you get
A gas-lift base: the whole mattress lifts on gas pistons to reveal storage under the entire bed. The ottoman bed mattress lifts with one hand, because the pistons take the weight for you.
A 10-inch mattress in the "with mattress" packages. Upgrades: orthopaedic or memory foam +£20, pocket sprung 1000 +£30, pocket sprung 2000 +£40. Choose the mattress, ottoman bed size and fabric, and we make it to order. An ottoman bed and mattress set bought together costs less than buying them separately.
Made to order in your size, fabric and colour (over 50 colours).
Free delivery across the UK (London, Scotland and Wales: +£20 per item), next-day in selected areas when you order before 7 PM.
Pay on delivery: check the bed first, then pay the driver in cash.
What fits in the storage?
The storage space runs under the whole bed, so think big. Spare duvets and pillows fit easily. So do winter blankets, out-of-season clothes, suitcases, shoes and the guest bedding. Things you need once in a while go under the bed, and things you need every week go in a drawer or a wardrobe. That is the whole point of an ottoman: the floor stays clear and the room stays tidy.
How to keep the price down
Buy the bed and mattress together. The package costs less than buying them separately and the mattress is matched to the gas-lift.
The best double ottoman bed with mattress deals are the packages, not the frame alone. Small double ottoman bed with mattress deals work the same way: a small double costs the same as a double on most of our ottoman beds, so choose by room size, not price.
Factory-direct sellers have no showroom costs. That is why an ottoman bed with mattress can cost less than a frame alone on the high street. These are the ottoman bed with mattress UK prices for every size, with free delivery and pay on delivery included.
Ottoman or divan?
An ottoman holds far more but you lift the mattress to reach it; a divan has drawers for things you use every week. Read Divan Bed vs Ottoman Bed: 5 Mistakes UK Shoppers Make: https://kensleyhome.com/blogs/blog/divan-vs-ottoman-bed.
Questions people ask
Can I buy the frame without a mattress? Yes. The ottoman frame alone starts at £300, and king size ottoman frames start at £340. If your mattress is still good, keep it and buy the frame only.
Can I choose the fabric and colour? Yes. Every bed is made to order in your size, fabric and colour, with over 50 colours to pick from.
How does the gas lift work? Gas pistons, which are spring-loaded arms filled with gas, take the weight of the mattress so you can lift the whole base with one hand. You do not need to be strong to use it.
How long does delivery take? Free delivery across the UK, next-day in selected areas when you order before 7 PM. London, Scotland and Wales cost £20 extra per item. You pay on delivery, in cash, after you have checked the bed.
